'Snowy Night'
On our pathway vol. 4
‘On our pathway’ is an on-going series that Lê Xuân Tiến has been working on since the end of 2019, up until now, 3 volumes have been completed.
In the upcoming open studio at manzi, Tiến will introduce the latest developments of this project - Volume no.4 which he described as “born from a concept of a man lying inside a frozen lamb bone, in the snow”.
The volume is composed of two bodies of works - a twin named ‘Snowy Night’ & ‘Sunny Day'. ‘Snowy Night’ consists of 14 videos arranged as a multi-channel installation while ‘Sunny Day’ is a 30-minute short film.
'Snowy night' will be displayed at manzi exhibition space for a month (from 09 until 30 Sep)
'Sunny day' will be screened at a FINALE event on 01 Oct, followed by an artist talk as the end of the open studio.
Artist's bio
Lê Xuân Tiến
Le Xuan Tien lives and works in Hanoi, Vietnam.
In 2015, Tien started his art practice, temporarily using moving image as the main medium.
In 2017, Tien graduated from the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema with a degree in Television cinematography.
In 2019, Tien started walking with a series of works called “On our pathway.”
